Looks like someone has been staring at Van Gogh’s The Starry Night a little too long. The hues and tonality of Prada’s runway collection is remarkably similar to those of Van Gogh’s magnum opus versus the animated bacchanal extravaganza that’s currently on view on the Prada website. Nevertheless, each interpretation plays into the design’s roiling curves, writhing lines, and violent eruption of florals from the comparatively constructed and quiet background.
