I had neither the inkling nor desire to investigate the Burberry label. Granted, I know how popular it is, especially with the collegiate-aged beauty queens, who wear them with full-frontal pride, as if these handbags are like some in-demand designer jewelry. Burberry jostles for attention along with the showcased  diamond rings, wedding rings, but as regular daily wear, earrings as well. But frankly, I think some self-editing is sorely needed, in terms of how much bling one would don.  And, I feel the same way about the Burberry plaid.  I think it is because instead of that check becoming iconic, it sadly became an affectation. However, I see these days that Burberry has taken steps to recapture substance, but I also see it is at the expense of the consumer with the highly touted price tags. My curiosity is raised with its youthful silhouettes, but I am not sure I’m on board yet. Perhaps you feel differently?
