Sales, sales, sales. Is your head spinning as much as mine? How peculiar is it that when you don’t have the money, your single-minded quest for that one bag is enormous but when you actually come up with a little savings or gift money to actually buy it, you get second thoughts and, basically, become picky? Irony or poetic justice? The thoughts we may have may meander from, “On second thought, it is a little too big for me” or “Is this bag what I really, really want” to “Hmmmm, what shape is missing from my collection” and “Will this bag last me a lifetime (even though I have no idea what my health or future holds)”. We all know what it is like to want something, but on the flip side of that coin, we also know what it is like to fall out of love with that something. That’s my current dilemma. I had been desirous for another YSL buffalo Muse for, I think, almost a year, but now that I have the chance to actually get it, I’m on the see-saw of indecision. I think I want something with a little surface texture, like croc-embossed, suede or hair-calf. Definitely something more formal. Or hey, what about completely changing the shape and go for a Tribute? Well, what about looking at other designers to see if I can get a little of both? Oh no, there are sales, which puts me on overload. Here’s one of those sales that has me doubting my initial wants. I’m going to be mean and share this with you, so you can join me in this conundrum.
