My husband thought that it would be fun if I posted my Christmas wishlist. I would agree that it would be fun, unless he’s playing a cruel joke on me and decides not to get anything on my list. Still, all in all, I will post it, in hopes that he will find something within his price range to make him happy. You will notice that my list is not very varied. I have obsessions, so that explains why I want multiple items from the same company or designer. I’m not so creative in that sense. And, because it’s a WISH list, I’ve included items that I am content to only wish for them.
As a break from my usual, I’ve not detailed as much descriptive information, because I have posted about 60% of them already. Instead, I’ve substituted with reasons for my wanting each. However, if you are interested for more details, just click on the image and that will take you to the site that stocks.
Season’s Greetings, all. I hope you get something you have been pining over.
Starting from left–
- Yves Saint Laurent, Oversized Buffalo Muse in Chocolate, $ 1,395. Yes, I have one already and I love it so much, that I want another. In a darker color. It is decadently rich to the smell and touch.
- Tiffany & Co, Silver Bead Earrings, 10mm posts, $80. Simple and therefore, refined. They will be part of my staple to be rotated with my pearl studs or my diamond studs.
- J Crew, Herringbone Cheshire Jacket in Salt Pepper, SALE $139.99. Actually, I want the one in Tomato, but that’s already sold out. This grey number will fit seamlessly in my more or less neutral paletted wardrobe.
- Marc Jacobs Collection, Stones Clutch in Black, $1,650. If there is one clutch I want for the whole season, it’s this one. Iconic is an understatement. I don’t know if Mr. Marc will put out anything as memorable as his Stones Collection, so I want this as a souvenir.
- Yves Saint Laurent, Large Downtown Tote in Grey Flannel, 20% discounted $1,036. Big, big bag in a lightweight yet durable fabric. The slightly organic feel downplays the high fashionista piece to an earthy level.
- Marc Jacobs Collection, Paloma Bag in Black, SALE $749, ditto reason as the aforementioned one. Love it, and it’s on sale! I think the website has the wrong dimensions. Correct ones: 11 x 9″h, 4″ strap drop.
- Tiffany & Co, Mark Coupe Quartz Resonator, $2,300. Did I mention already that I’m saving to buy a Tiffany watch for everyday wear? Maybe I’ll get this without saving???
- Louis Vuitton, Monogrammed Canvas Manhattan GM, $1,895. I’m not a huge LV fan, but I do like the Damier Trevi GM and this one. A perfect status piece in an ample size for running errands with the Joneses.
- Marc by Marc Jacobs, Posh Turnlock Super K in Patent Leather Black, $478. I have one already in Navy and I would love another one in a more crisp material to complement heavier, winter wear.
- Marc by Marc Jacobs, Hillier Hobo in Black, $398. I took a liking to this shape and functionality as soon as it came out a few weeks ago. Like all of MBMJ items, it looks so squooshy and comfortable to wear.
