If you haven’t had a chance to peruse the outlet store at Bag, Borrow or Steal, it is worth a gander. I was pleasantly surprised by the spectrum of choices. Since BBoS moves merchandise quickly to stay up with what’s hot in the handbag market, the outlet store gets updated constantly. This Chevron Caroline Bag by Marc Jacobs would have been mine, if I hadn’t splurged this weekend (bummer!). It’s been gently used, but I am sure that it is still in excellent condition. This is the framed handbag I typically go crazy over: black leather with chevron stitching, gold metal hardware, push-lock closure and a woven handle, and measures 16 x 11 x 5″d. Now $520.00, which is 65% off the retail, $1,495.
In addition, I see other notable investment bags at 40% off such as a Gucci Large Black Suede Bouvier Hobo going for $630 and YSL’s Extra Large Muse in Leopard Haircalf and Ivory Leather for $1,550.
