I’m looking for a very large framed bag. I don’t want any froufrou. Just a simple black bag sans floral motifs or embroidery, and it must be able to fit everything dear to me. Is this too much to ask? Apparently it is, because only with some tenacity involved was I able to ferret out some (or maybe I’m not as good with search strings as I thought). I wasn’t able to narrow down to just black or to a literal frame, but they all exude a rarefied snottiness, which is what I find irresistible to make a good vintage look. So, along with a few I have already posted (Lulu Guinness, Liberty of London, Smythson, and Valentino), four fashion-forward designers join in. I’d be happy to own any.
