You Say “Clutches”, I Say “Wallets”. We might as well call them, Wlutches. There I go again, using that awful blend, even though it is appropriate to describe the current set of ______________ (pick a noun) that are currently offered on the J Crew website. Measuring 9 x 5.5″, they seem miniscule compared to the oversized clutches, and generous when compared to a continental wallet (about 1.5″ larger all the way around). What I like to do is keep my check book with me and when I include it within my continental, the extra bit of girth distorts its slim profile. Call me shallow, but I don’t like it. These afford the convenience of toting the check book, and even my pen, without any hint of distending. Prices are all over the place, ranging anywhere from $29.99 to $128. Get one, get two!
