Perhaps as a reminder of Fall’s vibrant spectrum, these recent releases from Miu Miu are flushed like the first leaves turning. The immense durability of nappa calfskin is concealed by the cultivated, fine grained finish. Its bulky skin is lifted by the candied tints. The silhouette is easily recognizable as a post-war staple (i.e., the Hermes Kelly) but as always with Miuccia Prada, it’s injected with contemporary verve. Posh never looked so hip, whether in the city with your camel coat or on a cross-Atlantic cruise in your rustling silks.
