I do love the look and feel of exotic skins. And, there is a plethora to oogle this season, being that they are in trend. What also seems to be in trend is the high mark-up. I think I understand why, if I recall from undergrad Econ taken eons ago (something about limited resources begets limited supply vs. high demand….oh, whatever). So, how can we explain off these reasonably priced darlings from Lelya? Prices hover around $500, but I don’t see the sacrifice in workmanship and thoughtfulness. Attention to detail can be deciphered throughout, such as a clever use of navy instead of the wearisome black, sinuously curved links, a pop of exuberance with the pink suede interior, and convenient outer pockets for easy access. I’m confounded.
